\nGilt Bronze Horse was unearthed from south part of No.1 nameless of Maoling Mausoleum of Han Dynasty in Xingpin county, Shaanxi Province in 1981. The horse is bronze casting with gilded., it stands firm with raised head, dignified and imposing manner, handsome and vigorous in appearance, its flesh and blood with symmetry and with proper size. According to research, the horse was refined made by Ferghana Horse as prototype which introduce from Ferghana through Silk Road during the period of Emperor Wu Di of the Han Dynasty. It was the standard model used for professional evaluated the Ferghana Horse in the Han Dynasty. It was also the first standard model which found for evaluated the good horse of the whole world so far. As the representative of the fine horse of Han dynasty, the Gilt Bronze Horse, shining with dazzling brilliance, is not only a rare work of art, but also a reflection of the flourishing horse breeding and the prosperous horse culture of the Han Dynasty. As a favorite horse of Emperor of Han dynasty, the Ferghana Horse traveled from thousands of miles, was the proud of battle of Han Empire to subduing invading forces and expanding territory.
